Vice President of Business Development
Location: Dallas, TX
Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a Vice President of Business Development located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We are looking for a leader that loves building relationships. In this position you will be required to market our accounting and finance consulting and outsourcing services to businesses.
Job Responsibilities:
Build, respond and maintain prospective client relationships resulting in new business opportunities.
Find potential leads, educate leads about the benefits of our services and setup meetings with potential clients.
Build and harness relationships with CEO’s, CFO’s, CAO’s, VP/Directors of Accounting, and Corporate Controllers.
Design and implement strategies for increasing sales.
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
7+ years of experience building successful relationships with CFO's, CEO's or Corporate Controllers.
Experience in finance & accounting recruiting or consulting business development is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Experience with an accounting firm or a bank, engaging and seeking new client relationships highly preferred.
A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to learn quickly with limited instruction
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
A high sense of urgency, strong initiative and the ability to multi-task
Entrepreneurial Mindset
To excel in this role, you will need to be a self-starter who is ready to perform from your first day. You will need to learn on your feet and be adaptable as you also bring ideas and suggestions.
