Vice President of Business Development

Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to help drive sourcing and relationship development for our private equity platform. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives on building trusted networks with founders, intermediaries, and advisors.

The Vice President will be responsible for originating opportunities and representing our firm in the market, including developing relationships with business owners, investment bankers, brokers, and other referral sources. This individual will play a key role in expanding our pipeline and supporting the growth of our investment and advisory activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Build, manage, and nurture relationships with prospective clients and referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
Proactively source and qualify leads; educate prospects on the value of our services and schedule meetings with decision-makers.
Develop strong relationships with senior executives, including CEOs and CFOs.
Design and execute business development strategies to expand pipeline, increase brand visibility, and drive revenue growth.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

10+ years of experience building successful relationships with CEO's or CFO’s
Experience in consulting business development is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Experience with an investment advisory firm or a bank, engaging and seeking new client relationships highly preferred.
A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to learn quickly with limited instruction
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
A high sense of urgency, strong initiative and the ability to multi-task
